SHILLONG: An FIR was filed against three persons by the Secretary of Dorbar Kher Nongrum, Binestar Ksanlah and secretaries of three Kher for causing disturbances in the village of Shella.The complainants demanded arrest of Roy Kupar Synrem, Johnstelin Youroin and Stephan Ropmay for allegedly creating trouble for the locals.Ksanlah alleged that the trio had indulged in cheating, misleading and misguiding the people of Shella.Ksanlah further alleged that the trio had created disorder in Shella on April 29 leading to injuries to some people, including women, who had to receive medical treatment at Ichamati CHC.He asserted that the presence of SDO (Civil), SDPO, Additional SP (Crime), Shillong and other magistrates paved the way for chaos as they had misused their authority instead of maintaining peace and harmony. Ksanlah also objected to the appointment of the new secretary, assistant secretary and treasurer of the Dorbar without holding any meet.
He added that Synrem, Youroin and Ropmay had lied and misled the court through their affidavit on March 27, 2019 filed before the Judge of the District Council Court, Shillong which stated that they had already elected the new office bearers for 2019-2020 but the Judge did not take any cognisance of the affidavit.
