Junior table tennis c’ship

SHILLONG:   Eastern Command Inter –School Junior Table Tennis Championship was organised by Army Public School, Umroi Military Station SaturdayPatron of Army Public School, Umroi Mil Stn, Maj Gen Sanjeev Khatri, VSM, GOC 21 Mtn Div graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Director AWES Eastern Command , Col Sujit Dutta  , Principals from various schools, state officials from Meghalaya Table Tennis association and other dignitaries witnessed the event. For the first time ever in the history of 137 Army Public Schools, situated all over India , Eastern Command Inter School Junior Table Tennis Championship has been organised under the far sighted vision and  guidance of the Director of  AWES Eastern Command, Col Sujit Dutta . Out of 22 Schools among Eastern Command, 6 schools from 4 clusters qualified for the finals. The overall Championship Trophy was lifted by Army Public School, Sukna and the overall runners up Trophy was won by Army Public School, Gangtok.
