NESFAS holds 3-day retreat

SHILLONG: The North-East Slow Food and Agrobiodiversity Society (NESFAS) hosted a three-day work retreat titled ‘Briefing and Exchange of Ideas Sessions’ that concluded on Wednesday at SILOAM Facilitation Centre in Umsaw Khwan, Ri Bhoi.
The purpose of the retreat was to learn more about the basic concepts for sustaining indigenous food systems and well-being.
The participants also engaged in several ice-breaking activities which were mostly focused on the works and campaigns of NESFAS.
The retreat concluded with the team discussing management systems for better performance, discipline and decorum which are the basis of society.
