SHILLONG: A delegation of leaders from the 13 NGOs will soon meet Chief Minister Conrad Sangma to discuss about entry and exit points as there are several other priority places in the first phase that need attention.
KSU president Lambok Marngar said work should start at sites marked as top priority as in Umling.
Informing this here on Monday after meeting the PWD (Buildings) Minister, Comingone Ymbon, Marngar said they met him to discuss the progress of the entry and exit point at Umling. Marngar said the minister had assured to expedite the work of setting up entry and exit point.
The government has given direction to start construction work only in Umling, The KSU president felt that places such Athiabari, Khanduli and Ratacherra also should be given priority and the 13 NGOs will take up the matter with the chief minister.
