SHILLONG: The NEIGRIHMS authorities have termed the demand of the MBBS students for immediate recruitment of faculty members as ‘unrealistic’.

In a statement issued here on Wednesday, NEIGRIHMS spokesperson Dr Bhaskar Bargohain said the institutional process towards recruitment was already initiated and is being expedited.

He also said the NEIGRIHMS Director and some faculty members have made adequate attempts to bring the students for a dialogue without involving third party.
