JOWAI: The Sub-Divisional Officer (Supply), Khliehriat Civil Sub-Division, has directed all the residents of the Khliehriat Sub-Division having Bogus Ration Cards to surrender the same to the office of SDO (Supply), Khliehriat.
The SDO (Supply) Khliehriat has requested all the FPS Dealers to properly check all rations cards before issuing PDS items and if found any person with bogus ration card must report to the Sub-divisional officer, along with full details.
Murder: A person identified as Lem Langstang (33) of Iooksi, Priang village in Jaintia hills was found murdered at a coal mine in Sohkymphor area.
Sources informed that Langstang was working at a coal mine in Sohkymphor area and he was killed by unknown miscreants on Tuesday night and his body was recovered only on the next day.
His relatives lodged a complaint with with Ladrymbai Police in this regard.
