Accident
On June 11 around 9 am, a three-wheeler (ML 14 5967) driven by Willickson D Sangma (25) dashed against a motorcycle (ML 14 1217) ridden by Jackam M Marak (20) at Chellapara (SWGH). As a result, the motorcycle rider and a pillion rider sustained injuries and were shifted to CH Ampati and CH Tura respectively.
Body recovered
On June 10, the body of Babulal Singh was recovered from a deep gorge at Umsur Waterfall (SWKH). Deceased was reported missing since June 8. Necessary formalities were observed.
Duped
Md Jameel Abbas lodged a complaint that on June 8 he deposited Rs 463,493 over one Anita Jain of Max Life Insurance assuring him of refunding his money along with a bonus of Rs 523,023 for a life insurance policy under his name. Till date the complainant has not received any refund neither bonus.
Theft
Gulap Hussain filed a complaint that on June 7 circa 6 am, miscreants broke into his house at Malikona village (SGH) and stole Rs. 50,000, gold ring, cell-phones and other electronic items valued around Rs 247,900.
