TURA: Close aide of Former ANVC-B Chairman accused by families of three student leaders of illegal entry into their homes that allegedly led to threats and molestation has denied the charges.

Wilver Danggo Marak, who stands co-accused in the 3 FIRs filed by family members of the student leaders for intrusion into their homes with an intend to cause harm has claimed that the charges are fabricated and aimed at halting the business projects of Bernard Rimpu Marak.

“GLR pharmaceutical firm is run by Bernard Marak and i am the one who is looking after that business. As claim by them, Bernard Marak and me attacking their houses is just to divert the case which Bernard had filed against them for torching his residence cum resort at Edenbari. On that fateful night I was not with Bernard Marak,” claims Wilver.

He added that the NGOs had attacked GLR earlier on May 1, 2018 with the motive to close down the business.

“I am one of the witnesses against them but till date they could not close it down and the case is still pending in the High Court,” states Rimpu’s aide as he threatened to file a defamation case in court against the student leaders.
