Body found
Blast Rymbai, Secretary of Rymbai village East Jaintia Hills lodged a complaint that on the night of July 3, the body of Sabodh Das was found lying inside a labour camp at Soolad Rymbai village East Jaintia Hills. In this connection, one suspect, viz., Estul Basumatary was apprehended and handed over to Police at Khliehriat PS.
Theft
Mazel Ampareen Lyngdoh lodged a complaint that on July 9, miscreant(s) illegally entered her residential compound at Nongrim Road, Laitumkhrah, Shillong and stole the battery from a pick-up truck (ML-05H-0571).
Praveen Shekhar, CE, M/s American Tower Company, lodged a complaint that on July 8 around 7.30 am, three ‘edge dual receiver units’ were found missing from the tower site at Jarain village, East Jaintia Hills.
Assault
Nodingstar Lyngdoh Kynshi lodged a complaint that on July 9 around 7 pm, Augustin Lyngdoh Kynshing along with his accomplice assaulted him with a beer bottle and also attempted to murder him at Iewduh, Shillong.
