Missing person’s body recovered

 SHILLONG: The dead body of one Koling Malang, driver of Tata Nano (ML-04A-9255) was recovered by Nartiang Police from Madan Iong Kshai near Barato, Jaintia Hills.

The deceased was reportedly missing since April 13 and the case is registered under Khliehriat Police Station (PS).

Meanwhile, in two separate cases of threatening over telephone, the victims lodged police complaint against the callers.

One Micky D Wankhar lodged a complaint at Lumdiengjri PS that he received an anonymous threatening telephone call in his cell phone.

In another such incident, one Thengbath Marak lodged a complaint at Williamnagar PS that he received one anonymous telephone call in which the caller threatened him with dire consequences.

The matters are under police investigation.
