NONGPOH: A local youth hailing from Ri Bhoi, in a philanthropist act towards the women football team of Sati Memorial Secondary School which will represent Ri Bhoi District in the Subroto Cup at the state level this year, has donated track suits for the players on Monday.
The local youth, Gershom Lymphuid, is a member of the Ri Bhoi Youth Federation (RBYF), Umsning Circle.
Despite the trials he faces in life, Lymphuid has always been a sporting philanthropist helping and encouraging others either by means of money or others as per his capacity sans any kind of publicity.
The track suits donated by Lymphuid were handed over to the headmaster of the school, S Shangdiar in the presence of the team manager, S Syiemlieh.
