SHILLONG: The United Democratic Party (UDP) West Garo Hills District Committee held a meeting on Saturday at Aldara Hall in Rongkhon, Tura.
The meeting was chaired by the State UDP Vice President and West Garo Hills District President Utpal Arengh with UDP leaders of the district’s committee where youth and frontal wings were also present.
The UDP leaders of the district discussed the future of the party and the ways to make it better.
The leaders of UDP, West Garo Hills district, also discussed and reconstituted UDP, District Committee leaders and selected
Smera A.Sangma as president and Tilbirth A.Sangma as secretary for the district.
Meanwhile, State UDP vice president Utpal Arengh briefed the life of Donkupar Roy as a good leader. A two-minute condolence service was also held in the meeting.
