Last season’s overall champions Langsning Greenergy Lions and Shillong Lajong Cayotes were involved in early kick-offs, starting at 8:00am, with the Greenergy Lions winning all four of their matches. The U-7 and U-9 games ended 6-0 and 11-0 respectively in Langsning’s favour. The U-11 fixture was a special one, with the Cayotes pulling out a 4-1 lead before the Greenergy Lions stormed back for a 5-4 win. It was another close game in the U-12 category, with Langsning coming through 5-3. Next up came the matches between Mawkhar Roosters and Kickstart FCC Rhinos.
