NSF cautions on appointment of Nagaland teachers

Kohima: The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) has stressed that School Education Departmental officials, politicians or individuals found involved in ‘malpractices or discrepancies’ in the selection process of primary teachers and graduate teachers would face ‘action if caught.’

In a release issued by the NSF acknowledged the Nagaland School Education Department for ‘timely compliance to the demand for result declaration of primary teachers and graduate teachers. The Department has told by the organization to conduct the oral interviews in fair and transparent manner strictly on merit basis.

The Department is to complete the process of examination ‘as to carry out the postings and placements early keeping in view of the government schools running without teachers or with acute shortage of teachers.’

The NSF has appealed to the Nagaland Board of School Education to declare the HSLC and HSSLC results in the newspapers ‘to instantly facilitate’ the students who are unable to avail Internet or mobile facilities in checking their result.’

The NSF congratulates toppers and all successful candidates who were successful in the HSLC and HSSLC examinations. (UNI)
