SHILLONG: The SP’s office, East Khasi Hills has informed the general public that in view of the Independence Day celebration to be held at Additional Secretariat parking lot, temporary traffic arrangement has been made on the ocassion from 1 pm onwards. Vehicles will not be allowed to enter from Raj Bhavan towards IGP and vehicles coming from Kachari towards IGP will have to take Lachumiere road which will come out at Barrick, the statement read. There will be no entry at Barik towards Horse Shoe Building, Lachumiere, it added.
Vehicles can be parked at State Central Library, one side parking towards All Saints’ School from IGP Point to Hope Restaurant and MBoSE Office till WOK Restaurant, Lachumiere.
