SHILLONG: One Barnabas Lyngkhoi, 53, raped a nine -year-old minor girl at Umwahlang village, West Khasi Hills. The accused person also attempted to rape another 10 year old minor girl – who saw him while he was committing the crime. Meanwhile, police arrested the accused person.
In another incident, one Evening Muktieh, 37, abducted Rona Shadap (23) along with two minor girls Sanjiva Shadap (4) and Phibapynkmen Shadap (3) from Pahamsyiem village, Ri Bhoi District.
