NONGPOH: A youth was reportedly found hanging inside his rented house located near Nongpoh Police Station on Sunday.
As per sources, it is suspected that the youth, Dream Phawa (29), committed suicide on the night of August 17, but it was only on Sunday that his neighbours came to know of it.
His body was later sent to Nongpoh Civil Hospital for post mortem. However, the formality was exempted after the family members of the deceased submitted a petition to the concerned Magistrate at Nongpoh. Police are still investigating the matter to ascertain the cause behind the death.
