SHILLONG: ‘Amra Hokkol Khati Sylheti’, a Facebook group of world’s Sylheti community, which is very active in both social media & practical field in preserving the Sylheti language and also the unique culture of Sylheti community living across the world, is organising its 2nd Annual ‘Sylheti Milonotsov on Sunday, at Assam Club Auditorium, Laban at 10 am.
The first session of the programme will be marked by discussion among the group members on preservation of Sylheti Language & Culture and protection of interest of Sylheti community across the world.
On the second session at 5 pm, colourful cultural function will be performed by renowned Sylheti artistes of Barak Valley, Bangladesh & Shillong. The folk song of undivided Sylhet district and traditional Dhamail dance of Sylheti community will be the main attraction of the event.
