Fraudulent transaction
Mark Ropmay lodged a complaint that on July 11, he learnt that an unauthorised debit of Rs. 25,999 and Rs. 7,899 had taken place from his SBI account, without his knowledge.
Six LPG cylinders stolen
Kyntonlang Nehlang Kharpuri lodged a complaint that on August 28 around 9 am, he found that miscreants had broken into the office of M/s Eehcloy Gas Agency at Laitumkhrah, Shillong and stole six empty LPG cylinders.
Woman assaulted
A woman from Kosichora village under Bajengdoba PS (North Garo Hills) lodged a complaint that on August 28 around 5 am, while she was heading towards her elder sister’s place, she was assaulted by Selbina K Marak, her brother and Tangkim Marak. The accused persons also cut her hair.
Illegal coal transportation
On August 28, Mendipathar Police (North Garo Hills) intercepted one truck (AS-19AC-2087) driven by Md. Eyasin Ali (24), while illegally transporting coal.
Heroin seized
On August 27 around 12.30 pm, police recovered 2.05 grams of heroin, cash of Rs. 10,350 and two mobile phones from the possession of Bylon Shylla aka Boit of Caroline Colony Jowai) working at Mukhla workshop.
Police recover explosives
On August 27 around 4.45 am, acting on inputs, police conducted vehicle checking at Hallidayganj Bazar, West Garo Hills and during checking of one night super bus (AS-01CC-7339), Police recovered and seized six bags containing eighty-five packets of Neogel, ninety explosives containing fifteen pieces in each packet, fifteen packets of special ordinary detonators containing one hundred pieces in each packet and six packets of safety fuse wire containing twenty-five coils in each packet, from the possession of one Md. Mozidur Miah.
