Will Poulter joins Amazon’s Lord of the Rings series

Actor Will Poulter has joined Amazon Studios’ upcoming Lord Of The Rings series. Although details about his character is being kept under wraps, it has come to light that he will play one of the leads. Australian actress Markella Kavenagh was also in talks for a role in the series, reports variety.com. The Lord of the Rings series is being developed by the writing team of JD Payne and Patrick McKay. In addition, Game Of Thrones alum Bryan Cogman has signed on as a consulting producer on the project with JA Bayona set to direct multiple episodes. Poulter has featured in Netflix’s acclaimed interactive Black Mirror movie Bandersnatch and the Ari Aster’s horror film Midsommar. (IANS)
