Constable trains gun on colleague

 SHILLONG: A police constable Daswell Umbah sustained bullet injuries after he was fired upon by his fellow policeman Disha M Marak at Nangalbibra, South Garo Hills on May 5.

Police informed that Marak, who was in an inebriated condition, fired four rounds from his service carbine at Umbah.

“Out of the four rounds, one of the bullets hit Umbah on his thigh resulting in injuries to him,” police said while adding that the constable was shifted to Williamnagar Community Health Centres for treatment.

Marak has been arrested, police informed.
