Felicitation
St. Mary’s College Shillong organised a felicitation programme for the Class of 2019 on Saturday. Vincent T Darlong, vice-chancellor of Martin Luther Christian University attended the programme as the chief guest for the occasion. Around 400 successful candidates including position holders and achievers in various fields were awarded with certificates and mementos.
Freshers’ meet
The Shillong Socio-Cultural Assamese Students’Association (SSASA) will organise a freshers’ meet-cum-felicitation programne on Sunday which is also the birth anniversary of (L) Dr. Bhupen Hazarika” at the auditorium of the Asom Kristi Kendra, Stoneyland in Dhankheti from 10am onwards. Various cultural items will be presented by the students including the formal introduction of the freshers and a felicitation of meritorious students.
