NONGPOH: In an accident case, one police personnel identified as H Sangma died on the spot after a Maruti Brezza (ML05R 3139) hit him while he was crossing the NH-6 near Nongpoh Police Station on Sunday evening.
According to the police, it was informed that the vehicle driven by one Issac Lalsiemthar was on its way to NEPA, Umiam from Guwahati. The driver then took the injured police personnel to Bethany Hospital for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries.
