390 road accidents in two years

SHILLONG: The total number of road accidents in the state for the last two years from July 2017 to June 2019 is 390.
In a reply to unstarred questions posed by Congress MLA Mukul Sangma to Home Minister, James Sangma stated that the total number of deaths due to road accidents district-wise is East Khasi Hills -121, West Khasi Hills-15, South West Khasi Hills- 6, West Jaintia Hills- 16, East Jaintia Hills – 41, Ri-Bhoi-66, West Garo Hills – 36, East Garo Hills – 11, North Garo Hills -20 , South Garo Hills – 6, South West Garo Hills – 52.
