SHILLONG: East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner Matsiewdor War on Friday said that the full and final report of the tests on the dirty water at Elephant Falls was yet to be received.
She said that the report will be ready by next week.
After witnessing the dirty yellowish water flowing to Elephant Falls last week, the Meghalaya State Pollution Control Board conducted tests and the magistrate will submit the report to the DC sometime next week. It was alleged that the dirty water flowing into the falls was due to the release of untreated water by the Eastern Air Command. However, the IAF had refuted the allegation.
