Shifting of Polytechnic college to Gasuapara

SHILLONG: Bakdil KRIMKRO has knocked on the door of High Court of Meghalaya to challenge the work of the government /department regarding the shifting of Polytechnic College from Kapasipara to Gasuapara and the illegal and unofficial construction of the college.
The organisation has filed a writ petition on Tuesday in the High Court through Advocate Pilan T. Sangma to seek justice.
In a statement issued here, the president of KRIMKRO, Tangbath M. He sought the intervention of the High Court to stay the ongoing illegal construction at Gasuapara,” he said.
Public meeting
In order to share information about the petition and chalk out their next strategy and discuss other social issues, KRIMKRO will conduct a public meeting with the residents from Sibbari to Telekali village areas at Kapasipara Deficit UP School on September 26 around 2:30 p.m.
