14 Taliban militants killed in Afghanistan

Kabul: Fourteen Taliban militants were killed in a series of operations launched by the Afghan security forces in Ghazni province, authorities said on Monday.
The operations were staged in turbulent Khawja Omari and Dih Yak districts on Sunday, Xinhua news agency reported.
“Seven arms and weapons caches have also been destroyed,” the government said in a statement.
Casualties on the side of security forces was, however, not provided. (IANS)
