Indian Army cycling expedition

Itanagar: A 20 member Indian Army team of Gajraj Corps on Friday embarked on a 1,500 km cycling expedition across Arunachal Pradesh, a Defence spokesperson said.
“The expedition was flagged off in Tawang. The cycling team will cover almost all the districts of Arunachal Pradesh and complete the route in 30 days,” Guwahati-based Defence PRO Lt Col P Khongsai said.
The team aims to promote the spirit of adventure among the local populace especially children and to spread the message of peace, solidarity and national integration, he said. (UNI)
