Blood Donation camp in city

SHILLONG: To commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and his dream on social work, the NCC Unit of Union Christian College in collaboration with Dr. HG Gordon Robert Hospital had organised a blood donation camp on Wednesday. During the programme, an inauguration speech was given by CTO NCC (UCC Unit) Phida-ri-ing Kharsyntiew followed by an awareness talk on blood donation and its importance by A Tariang from Robert Hospital.
The event witnessed 54 blood donors that included the NCC officials, NCC cadets, college staffs and students.
