Two houses torched in West Khasi Hills

Members of the West Khasi Hills Students’ Union (Mawthadraishan Circle)  torched two houses allegedly manufacturing illicit liquor in Mawpon under Myriaw Syiemship in West Khasi Hills on Monday. The houses belonged to Thwikly Lyngkhoi and Leander Lyngkhoi. WKHSU members said they had earlier warned the owners to stop the illegal practice. (ST)
