NONGPOH: Altogether four youths of Nongpoh town pooled in funds to undertake repair works of one of the most important roads located at the heart of the town which has been lying dilapidated for many decades now at Sajer.
Despite being situated at the heart of Nongpoh, none took the responsibility to repair the road prior to them.
The youths, namely Hopingstar Sylliang, Marcus Marten, Compriwell Jahrin and Lang decided to repair the road after observing the plight of the local residents who had been facing difficulties in commuting.
They donated money from their own pockets to repair the road for the betterment of the society without blaming or criticising anyone.
