DDMA holds awareness programme

Nongstoin: The District Disaster Management Authority, (DDMA), Nongstoin, in collaboration with Civil Defence, Nongstoin organised a one-day awareness programme on school safety plan, search and rescue, first aid, and school mock drill for teachers/students/ of Pariong Presbytery Higher Secondary School.
The programme, which was held with an objective to acquaint the teachers and students on the various aspects of school safety and earthquake preparedness, was inaugurated by J Mawthoh, District Disaster Management Officer (DDMO), DDMA, Nongstoin.
A school mock drill on earthquake preparedness was also conducted as part of the programme.
