Vocational Training
The BSF will be organizing a vocational training linked with employment for the benefit of border population and BSF families at BSF Praharinagar campus, Tura, West Garo Hills on June 2 to be inaugurated by Chief Minister, Dr Mukul Sangma. The programme will be conducted by the Indian Institute of Skill Development in active collaboration with the National Skill Development Programme.

Support to Bharat bandh
Meghalaya Joint Council of Trade Unions and Associations,apex body of all the Trade Unions and Association in the State, extended its total support to the protest actions launched by the Sponsoring Committee of all the Trade Unions of the Country and demanded total roll back of hike in prices.
