An interaction meet of all ex-servicemen, veer naris, other ladies and dependents of Assam Rifles of Meghalaya will be held on November 18 at Brahmaputra Hall, HQ DGAR, Old Complex, Laitumkhrah at 10:30 am.

The Ali Yavar Jung National Institute on Speech and Hearing Disabilities (Divyangjan), Mumbai in collaboration with the office of the Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, Shillong is organising a two-day National Level Workshop on Cochlear Implantation and Post Rehabilitation Services on November 14 and 15 at Moreau Institute of Integral Training (MIIT), Shillong.
Book release
Union Christian College and PA Sangma Foundation will release a book titled ‘Women and Development’ which will be held at North East India Christian Council Office (behind Raj Bhavan, near YWCA office) on November 14 at 4 pm. The book is dedicated in memory of (L) P A Sangma, former Speaker, Lok Sabha and former Chief Minister, Meghalaya.
