Shillong: Health and Family Welfare Minister AL Hek inaugurated the State Medical Guest House at Health Complex, Laitumkhrah on Thursday.
In his speech, Hek said that the medical guest house will provide accommodation for outstation doctors, staff and health officials coming from different parts of the state for official work.
He also lauded the doctors, nurses and health officials who are rendering invaluable healthcare services across the state.
It may be mentioned that the guest house with 12 rooms was constructed at a cost of Rs 81,04,698. MDC Fantin Joseph Lakadong, James Ban Basaiawmoit, Co-Chairman, Meghalaya Health Advisory Board among others were also present.
