SHILLONG: BSF is organizing a series of social welfare programmes as a celebration of 55th Raising Day Border Security Force in form of civic action, free medical camps, mini marathon, sports activities and showing BSF own documentary movie.The efforts are being made by 30 Bn BSF to provide extensive opportunity to youth at their doorstep for social, environmental, sports, health and security awareness. An inter-district football match was played at remote village Pyrdwah from November 18-20, where eight football teams of WJHD Jowai and EKHD Shillong participated. The final match was played between Pyrdwah and Naljuri in which Pyrdwah bagged the trophy by beating Naljuri with 2-0.
