SHILLONG: East Khasi Hills District Sports Officer will conduct free coaching camps for children less than 16 years of age in various sports disciplines at the block level in the district from June 9 onwards.
For children residing within Mylliem Block, there would be coaching on volley ball and athletics to be held at the Gorkha Secondary School, Lai Mer, Upper Shillong and coaching in football and basketball at Madan Heh, Mawngap. For Pynursla Block, there would be free coaching camp on football and swimming to be held at Madan Phlang in Sohsan village and at Umngot River, Dawki respectively. For Mawsynram Block, a football coaching camp would be held at Madan Sohjhursaw.
