SHILLONG: The Silver Jubilee celebrations of Rev Thomas Jerman Jones Presbyterian School, Mawphlang concluded on December 4.
The school was founded in March 1, 1994 and administered by the Managing Committee led by the Presbyterian Church, Mawphlang.
It has not less than 300 students and teaching (both part time and full time) staff of 20 teachers.
Apart from academics, the school also has a music class and football academy started in 2018.
The inaugural celebration of the school was held on December 3, 2018 by Chief Minister Conrad Sangma.
Mawphlang MLA, SK Sunn and Mawphlang MDC L Blah and president of Rotary Club Orchid City, Shillong were present during the closing ceremony held on December 4.
The day was marked by various cultural programmes performed by the students of the school.
