SHILLONG: Shillong Ekta Mahila Samiti on Friday hailed the encounter killing of the four rapists of Hyderabad.
“We hope that this news must have given the semblance of solace to the departed soul of Dr. Priyanka Reddy and her family members. The heartfelt congratulations to Hyderabad Police, they have done what the court could not have done in months and years,” the organiation said in a press statement.
It also said that this encounter killing will scare others indulging in such crimes against women. “We also sincerely request the government and judiciary to adopt all measures to speed up in awarding the sternest punishment to other rapists who all have been genuinely involved in such horrendous crimes.”
