IIM’s annual summit concludes

SHILLONG: IIM Shillong concluded its annual Business Leadership Summit and Innovative Corporate Engagement meet on Sunday.
The summit witnessed the presence of eminent speakers from around the country, who participated in discussion on various management topics which are germane to the business world. The discussion, focusing primarily on Indian economy and its path ahead, saw various learned personalities sharing their views in the light of different domains of management studies such as operations, finance, marketing, analytics and others.
While on one side the summit was being concluded, parallelly organised was the Innovative Corporate Engagement meet, which saw the participation of avid golfers including players from the corporate world, armed forces and golfers across the region and country, showing their sporting spirits and expertise.
The innovative meet really lived to its name where the students, who are generally going through the rigorous process of the management school, met eminent corporate personalities and top-notch officials and fathom their view on various pivotal issues which are shaping the world.
Both the events concluded in State Convention Centre in the presence of Minister of Health & Family Welfare AL Hek; member of the Board of Governors, Atul Kulkarni; senior officials of the armed forces and other dignitaries.
