Lackadaisical attitude of doctors, staff at CHC

SHILLONG: The Khasi Students Union, Pynursla unit on Friday inspected the CHC in Pynursla and found that the doctors and staff of the health centre were not discharging their duties to the patients.
The lackadaisical attitude of the doctors and staff of the health centre has prompted the union to ask the doctors and staff not to play truant. Union president Vorrozislov Sohkhlet said that the union will also meet health minister AL Hek.
The union will apprise the minister of the grievances faced by the patients at the CHC, Pynursla.
It was found out that the staff reaches late and doctors were not present in the OPD even as patients were waiting outside.
