In tune with the same, a Regional Youth Conference of the National Youth Congress (NYC) was held at the PA Sangma Foundation complex here on Saturday.

The chief guest at the Conference, Sanjay Dina Patil, Lok Sabha MP from North East Mumbai, said that NCP nurtures big hopes of coming back to power in 2013.

Patil was addressing a gathering which included State Opposition Leader Conrad K Sangma, NYC State President Aldo A Sangma, and NCP State President Dr WR Kharlukhi among others.

While stating that the people working at the grassroots are the most important workers of the party, Patil urged the youth and various leaders of the party to work harder to ensure NCP’s success in the upcoming Assembly Elections. On the occasion, Patil also released a book written by veteran politician and NCP co-founder PA Sangma titled Naaba Dilgipa Ongna Sikengama (Do you also want to be a leader).

Praising the veteran leader, Patil said “Sangmaji has been a great driving force in my political career and has always given me the right guidance and support at the right time”.
