SHILLONG: The NPP will meet soon to decide on the candidate for the lone Rajya Sabha seat.
Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong said on Wednesday that the party has to first discuss the matter to get the opinion of the leaders.
The election is likely to be held in March and by April 12 the seat will have to be filled as the term of the present Rajya Sabha member Wansuk Syiem expires on that date.
