SHILLONG: The students of Ramakrishna Mission HS School, Sohra, recently participated and won laurels during the Inter-State Science Exhibition held during the Eastern India Science Fair 2020 in Birla Industrial and Technological Museum, Kolkata.
The students, viz. Venessa Dolly Sohkhlet and Saradaphi Suting represented the state and won ‘State Best Model Prize’ for a working model on ‘Watershed Concept’.
West Bengal governor also heaped praises on the students for effective demonstration of water harvesting concept in a simple working model.
Dolly was also awarded the ‘Best Investigation Project Prize’ that was constituted in memory of Sharmila Mookherjee.
Around 113 schools from 11 states (8 Northeastern states, West Bengal, Bihar and Orissa) had participated in the exhibition.
