Shillong: Meghalaya were forced to follow-on on the second day of their U-23 Col CK Nayudu Trophy match against Puducherry in Puducherry on Wednesday and are still 285 runs from making the hosts bat again. Resuming on 380/7, Puducherry were all out for 445. Adding to his five-wicket haul from Tuesday, Anish Charak claimed another two today to finish with figures of 7/79. In response Meghalaya never really got going except for an innings of 54 by Yogesh Tiwari and they were all out for 120 and were made to bat again.Following on, Kishan Lyngdoh and Ibitlang Thabah held out for a good 16 overs before the latter was dismissed for 16. Lyngdoh remained not out at stumps on 10 and Meghalaya will resume tomorrow on 40/2, still 285 runs behind Puducherry.
