Shillong: Puducherry defeated Meghalaya by an innings and 149 runs in their U-23 Col CK Nayudu Trophy match in Puducherry on Thursday. Resuming on 40/2, still 285 runs from making the hosts to bat a second time, Meghalaya were dismissed for 176. Kishan Lyngdoh was 10 not out at stumps and reached 35 before being dismissed. His was the top score of Meghalaya’s second innings. Plenty of other players got starts, reaching double figures, but could not press on.
