Cattle seized
SI SN Biswas, MCP Commander (E-Coy, 97 Bn BSF), Sonapur Bridge, EJH, lodged a complaint that on Sunday around 1:45 am, during duty at Sonapur Bridge, EJH, one truck (NL-03A-7109), illegally transporting 19 cattle in brutal manner, was detected. The cattle were suspected to be stolen and intended to be handed over to one habitual smuggler, viz. West Suja (27), of Kuliang village for smuggling to Bangladesh through Indo-Bangladesh border.
