Underlining the need for the youth to get involved in positive activities, she said that it is also important for the youth to take care of problems such as conflicts, drug menace and unemployment.
“I strongly feel the need to have skill development as the basis of activities for the youth,” Ms Chowdhury said while addressing the Northeastern Regional consultative meeting with various stakeholders on the draft National Youth Policy 2012, at the NEHU campus here on Thursday.
