State belayers get training

SHILLONG: Participants Ibakordorshisha Mary Sawian, resident of Tynring and Teimiki Sungoh, student of St. Edmund College represented Meghalaya Sport Climbing and Mountaineering Association (MeSCMA) during the training courses organised Indian Mountaineering Foundation (IMF) for judges, route setters and belayers at its campus in New Delhi from February 22 till 26, and successfully acquired theoretical and practical knowledge as belayer of the sport climbing.  They were selected by the North East Zone Sport Climbing Committee to undergo this training.
