Shillong: The locality head of Pdeng Shnong, Rynjah, Michael Dkhar on March 30 and 31 donated Rs 1000 each to 42 families within its jurisdiction.
In a statement issued here, Dkhar said that the households were given rice, oil, sugar, onion, pulses, salt and other essential commodities.
He urged local MLA and MDC to turn their attention to the poor, labourers, domestic workers, drivers and others.
